Stig Andersson-Tvilling
Along with his twin brother Hans, Stig Andersson-Tvilling took up ice hockey in Like his brother, he played his entire career from with Djurgårdens IF and won seven Swedish titles with them (, , , ). Internationally, Andersson-Tvilling earned 84 caps with the Swedish national team. He won an Olympic bronze in , was a World Champion in , won silver at the World Championships and bronze at the World Championships. He was also a European Champion from , while taking silver at the and European Championships and bronze at the European Championships. Andersson-Tvilling was also an accomplished football player, earning one cap with the Swedish national team. He was awarded the Stora Grabbars Märke (Big Boys’ Badge) #45 in ice hockey, a Swedish sports honorary award created in by Bo Ekelund.

He competed at the and Winter Olympics, winning a bronze medal in and finishing fourth in alongside his twin brother Hans. Besides hockey he also played one international match for the Swedish association football team.[1]

They have long lived on different sides of the Atlantic. Joel in Gothenburg, Henrik in New York. That's still the case, but now that their elite careers are over, they have more time to hang out.
We talk a lot more on the phone. It was pretty tough to find time when you were playing. When I had breaks, it was often preparations, matches, or travels for Joel, and vice versa. And then you have the time difference, says Henrik.
The contact has always been there, whenever something happened. But of course, now we have more time to talk about things and see each other more, adds Joel.
And for Henrik, who underwent a complicated heart operation in , it's been extra important to have Joel close by.
Especially in times when you're challenged, whether it's sports-wise or on a personal level. Having that security It means a lot. You get a lot of strength from it.
