Zubereitung

  • 1.Als erstes schneidet ihr Zwiebel, Parprika und Möhren in ganz feine Würfelchen und gebt diese zum bereits leicht angebratenen RInderhack. Alles zusammen mit Rapsöl anschwitzen und dazu auch direkt den Milchreis geben!

    2.Nach dem der Milchreis eine halbe Minute mit resöstet wurde gießt man die Gemüsebrühe auf und rührt alles kräftig um. Herd auf niedrige Temperatur stellen.

    3.Jetzt den klein gehackten Apfel darunter und wenn die Flüssigkeit verkocht immer mit etwas Apfelsaft abgießen. Weiter fleißig rühren, ca 30 Minuten.

    4.Nach belieben mit etwas Salz abschmecken und zum Schluß den Schmierkä

    Hvornår er en ret børnevenlig? For mig er en ret børnevenlig, når ikke den er alt for krydret og stærk. Derudover skal den være nem at spise og helst også hurtig at lave, gerne inden for 30 min. Og det er denne her risotto.

    Du tænker måske ikke at laks er børnevenligt? Det var det heller ikke her hjemme, de første mange gange vi serverede laks, men det skal jeg lige love for det er blevet.     Det skal du bruge: 4 pers

    • 4 dl grødris (Jeg bruger helt almindelige grødris til risengrød)

    Cheesy Sweet Potato Risotto for Kids

    An easy, simple risotto for kids that packs a portion of sweet potato into the creamy cheesy sauce! This is an easy win for picky eaters, and also suitable for toddlers and babies. You can adapt this into a family meal with a few upgrades for the adults!

    This risotto has become a regular dinner for my kids, who are, at 5 and 3, both in a zone where they like predictable, easy foods with consistent textures. For weeknight meals, this is the kind of thing that works, especially because it contains ingredients that I always have to hand, and there isn&#;t any precise measurement required. Once you&#;ve made it once you don&#;t need the recipe again. It&#;s pretty easy to just wing it.

    What makes this a recipe for kids?

    In a nutshell, it&#;s the simplicity of the recipe that makes it &#;kid friendly&#;. This is very stripped back.

    • The texture is pretty consistent. To some kids this is essential. There&#;s no onion or celery floating around &#; we only use garlic as a background flavor. The sweet potato can be mixed until it&#;s all broken down and creamy without chunks, if you need it to be.

      Ingredients: 

      • 1/4 cup pine nuts
      • 5 cups low-sodium chicken broth
      • 2 Tbsp olive oil
      • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
      • 2 large or 4 small shallots, chopped 
      • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
      • 1 1/2 cups Arborio rice
      • 1/2 cup dry white wine, such as Pinot Grigio
      • 1/3 cup dried currants or raisins
      • 2/3 cup (4 oz) crumbled feta cheese
      • 3 Tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves

      Preparation: 

      1. Preheat the oven to °F. Arrange the pine nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 6 to 8 minutes, until lightly toasted. Cool completely before using.

      2. Heat the broth in a small saucepan and keep warm over low heat. 

      3. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat the oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the shallots and 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, until softened. Add the rice and cook, stirring often, until toasted, about 3 minutes. Add the wine and simmer, stirring occasionally, until evaporated, about 2 minutes. 

      4. Add 1/2 cup of the hot broth and cook, stirring occasionally, until liquid is completely absorbed. Continue adding the remaining broth, 1/2 cup at a time, cooking and st
